AlphaZero Affiliate Terms

These terms apply to every affiliate program run on the AlphaZero Studios LLC platform: the AlphaZero partner program and each store's own affiliate program. Every store also publishes its own program terms at /affiliates/terms on its site, setting out that program's commission rates, attribution window, hold period, payout minimum and any rules of its own. When you apply to a program you agree to both. Where they differ about a store's commission or payout rules, that store's program terms govern its program; these terms govern everything else.
1. Your account
Affiliate programs require an AlphaZero account. You must be at least 18, give accurate information, keep your payout details current, and hold only one account. You are responsible for all activity under it.
2. Applying and approval
Each store decides whether to approve your application to its program and may decline or leave it pending. You have a separate referral code for each program. Changing a code stops links and codes you shared earlier from being credited.
3. How referrals are credited
A sale is credited to you when a customer uses your code, or buys within the store's attribution window after clicking your link, as described in that store's program terms. Purchases by you, or through accounts you control, are not credited. The store's order records decide attribution, and commission is adjusted when an order is refunded, cancelled, charged back or changed.
4. What you must not do
- Bid on a store's name or trademarks in paid search.
- Use coupon or browser-extension stuffing, cookie stuffing, or forced clicks.
- Send spam or unsolicited messages.
- Make misleading claims, post fake reviews, or present yourself as the store or as AlphaZero.
- Generate fraudulent or incentivised traffic, or refer yourself.
- Post your code on coupon sites unless the store's program terms allow it.
- Resell sample products.
Breaking these rules can mean losing commission on the affected sales and removal from the program.
5. Disclosing the relationship
Wherever you promote a store, make clear that you may earn a commission — for example with #ad or “affiliate link” — as required by applicable law, including the U.S. FTC's Endorsement Guides.
6. Commission and payouts
Commission is pending until the store's hold period ends, then becomes payable. Commission on refunded, cancelled, charged-back or fraudulent orders is reversed. You request payouts from your AlphaZero account once you reach the store's payout minimum, using the payout methods offered. Commission for a store's program is owed by that store; commission for the AlphaZero partner program is owed by AlphaZero Studios LLC.
7. Taxes
You are responsible for taxes on your earnings. U.S. affiliates must provide a signed W-9 before their first payout, and earnings may be reported to tax authorities as the law requires.
8. Your information
A store you apply to sees the application and profile details you provide, your payout details, and your referral performance. You see aggregate performance only, never the identities of the customers you refer. See our Privacy Policy.
9. Suspension and leaving
You can leave any program at any time. A store or AlphaZero may suspend or end your participation for breach of these terms or the store's program terms. Commission earned in line with these terms before then is handled under the store's program terms.
10. Changes
We may update these terms; the effective date above shows the current version. Stores version their own program terms. Continuing to take part after a change means you accept it.
